Frequently asked questions
ARE ARTISAN PERFUMES SAFE FOR ME?
Certain aromatic substances that are used in artisan perfumes may cause allergies.
If you're prone to allergies, always perform an allergic reaction test before using a new perfume: apply perfume to the inside part of your elbow. If there is no sign of an unpleasant reaction (redness, swelling, rash) in the course of a few hours, you may safely use the fragrance.
I advise those who are prone to allergic reactions, pregnant and nursing women, as well as people with chronic illnesses to be extra careful. Before using handmade perfumes, consult your doctor. I write the list of the most possible allergens in listings, however, maybe something else is dangerous for you. If so, please contact me before making a purchase.
CAN CHILDREN USE PERFUMES?
Usually, children under 12 years old are not recommended.
In any case, you also need an allergic reaction test before using a new perfume: apply perfume to the inside part of your elbow. If there is no sign of an unpleasant reaction (redness, swelling, rash) in the course of a few hours, you may safely use the fragrance.
CAN I USE PERFUME ON OPEN SPACE?
Please do not apply perfume to open areas of skin exposed to sun (some essential oils may cause the skin to become extra sensitive to various kinds of ultraviolet light).
However, there is a small life hack. If you want to smelling of your favorite fragrance outside on a sunny day, gently apply perfume to the back of the head under the hair.
This method is good and in any other weather, as it allows the scent to stay with you longer.
DO YOU MAKE COPIES OF OTHER PERFUMES?
I do not make copies of other perfumer's works!
Sometimes my perfume can remind you of something, but any such coincidences are accidental. It will most likely be a brain game with associations.
All my perfumes are made according to my own ideas, from pure basic components (I do not use ready-made bases).
However, there are classic combinations of aromatic ingredients that allow you to determine the type of perfume composition (chypre, fougere, cologne, etc.). Using this is not plagiarizing or copying.
